For several decades, the Western Kenya tourist circuit remained largely untapped, attracting minimal domestic and international visitors despite its immense potential. Within this circuit, Migori County stands out as one of the most promising yet underdeveloped destinations. Although it is home to several unique tourist attractions, the region has not fully realized its appeal due to challenges such as poor and impassable roads, limited recreational facilities, and a shortage of hotels that meet international standards. Recognizing this untapped potential, as a visionary investor I saw a unique opportunity within the blue economy and took bold steps to invest in the region, helping to unlock its tourism potential and position it for future growth.
