From the lake, from the farm

The kitchen at Sori Lake View Resort works from what the lake and the surrounding farms provide tilapia, vegetables from a half-acre garden on site, beef from ranches along the escarpment. Breakfast is served on the lawn as the mist lifts; dinner moves to a long communal table on nights when the sky is clear enough to eat under it.

Sori Lake View Resort is a home away from home, set along the serene lakefront of Lake Victoria with a strong sense of security and comfort. Guests enjoy the unique opportunity to fish directly from the lake and have their catch prepared fresh by our chefs.

The resort specializes in authentic traditional African cuisine, featuring delicacies such as obambla, aliya, mor alenya, kuon cham, omena, dek, atipa, mamba, seu, and apoth — all prepared using locally inspired techniques and ingredients.
